Challenge
Creating polished, on-brand newsletters for different Mailchimp audiences was time-consuming. Each send required rewriting copy, selecting visuals, and ensuring the final layout stayed consistent with IVSA’s brand guidelines. Small teams often had to start from scratch for every campaign.

We developed a custom GPT-powered app that streamlines newsletter creation from start to finish.
The workflow is simple:

  • Smart Prompting: Enter a subject or rough idea for your email.

  • Audience-Aware: The system asks which Mailchimp audience you want to target (buyers, agents, sponsors, etc.) and adapts tone and content accordingly.

  • On-Brand Content: Generates fully written stories following IVSA’s brand voice and style guide.

  • Hero Image Generation: Automatically creates a matching, on-brand hero image — no external design work required.

  • Subject & Preview Options: Suggests multiple subject lines and preview text so you can test and optimize engagement.

  • Clean HTML Output: Produces ready-to-send HTML that works seamlessly in Mailchimp.

Impact
The Newsletter Customizer allows non-technical staff to create posts almost instantly. It has cut hours of production time per campaign and raised overall email quality.
